On Tuesday, July 12, 2022, the Civil Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Computer, and Design, University of Nusa Putra in collaboration with PSPII, Faculty of Engineering, Atma Jaya University, and the Association of Indonesian Construction Safety Experts held a National Seminar with the theme “Implementation of Construction Structure Design by Prioritizing Construction Safety and Cost Optimization”.
Mr. Ir. Lazuardi Nurdin, CSP., IPU as General Chairperson of PAKKI, PPPII K3L Secretary, and Member of the PUPR Construction Safety Committee, acted as Keynote Speaker by bringing the topic “The Pattern of SMK3 Implementation in Construction Companies in Indonesia”.
The event was guided directly by Mr. Ir. Paikun, S.T., M.T., IPM as the Moderator in this event who is the Head of PII Sukabumi Regency, Head of Research & Community Service Unit, and Head of Civil Engineering Study Program.
The National Seminar this time took place very formally and solemnly with various speakers full of knowledge who distributed material to the participants who attended which included students, lecturers, academics, and experts in their fields. Mr. Ferry Hermawan, S.T., M.T., Ph.D, CSP, IPU, brought the topic of “Dynamic Capability of Production Acceleration of U-Shape Girder Light Rail Transit Project”. Mr. Ir.H.Yaya Ropandi.M.Si., CSP., IPU delivered material on “The Effect of Worker Unsafe Actions on the Occurrence of Work Accidents” Mr. Dr. T. Herry Ludiro Wahyono, S.T., M.T., IPU discussed the theme of “Improvement of Abutment Deformation in Peat Soil: Alternative Structural and Geotechnical Solutions”. Mr. Ir. Supriyadi, M.T. presented a presentation entitled “Optimization of the Utilization of Reinforced Steel in Reinforced Concrete Flexural Structures, and Mr. Ir.H. Suhadi., S.T., M.M delivered material on “Redesign Engineering, Fabrication, Optimizing Turnbuckle Production Costs and Minimizing Suspension Bridge Hanger Costs at PT Bumi Karya Saranamas”.
We hope that by holding this event, we can broaden our knowledge, deepen our vision and add and learn new things from things we did not know before. By holding this National Seminar, it is hoped that it will strengthen the academic relationship between Nusa Putra University and Atma Jaya University, as well as various other parties to jointly advance the nation and state of Indonesia.
