This course discusses the notion of hypotheses, the nature and types of data, data sources, data organization, data presentation, data analysis, frequency distribution, central tendency, and dispersion. Next, it discusses the theory of probability, permutations, combinations, binomial/Poisson/Normal distribution, Chi-square test, least squares method, regression analysis and its limitations, correlations, multi-linear regression and coefficients. Practicing statistical analysis using computer applications.
