ECTS:
4.8

Description:

In this course, students will learn to understand the basic laws of physics, particle kinematics; Particle dynamics; Work and energy; Rotational motion; Vibration and fluid mechanics, through simple mathematical descriptions as well as introducing examples of the use of concepts, and conducting material analysis in the form of practical and basic concepts of chemistry, stoichiometry, chemical reaction equations, the periodic system of elements, thermochemistry, electrolytes and electrochemistry, and chemical applications in the field of civil engineering. Lectures are carried out using a conceptual and contextual approach with demonstration methods, discussions, questions and answers, and lectures, equipped with the use of OHP, and physics teaching aids. The stage of student mastery is evaluated in addition to UTS and UAS as well as through homework. In this learning, there are 4 Course Learning Outcomes (CLO) that will be fulfilled. The following are CLO and PLO matrices in Basic Physics and Chemistry Courses.
